We're between Clapham and Tooting. Parking is easy at The Bedford in Balham, we are opposite Sainsbury's car park and there is plenty of pay and display bays along Fernlea Road, from Monday to Saturday till 5.30pm, after which parking is free. Please note that Fernlea road is one way, offering no access from Bedford Hill. Instead, turn into Rossiter Road and then the first right, bringing you into Fernlea Road.

Underground

Balham is on the Northern Line with frequent trains to central London via the Bank and Charing Cross branches. Typical travel time to Waterloo is 15/20 minutes.

Overground

South West Trains is responsible for Balham station with a frequent service to Victoria (Central London), Clapham Junction, Gatwick and Croydon.

Harry Hill, Al Murray - The Pub Landlord, Rich Hall, Adam Bloom, Jack Dee, Will Smith, Eddie Izzard, Catherine Tate, Rob Brydon, Omid Djalil & Frank Skinner - just to name a few - have all tickled audiences on these stages, in the vast Shakespearean Globe Theatre and Ballroom.

The Banana Cabaret continues to be the spring board for new and emerging comedians as well as a favourite with the established artists. Recent performers have included Perrier-winning Daniel Kitson, Marcus Brigstock & Stephen K Amos.

We now have limited booking available on both Fridays & Saturdays (click the book tickets above, first come first served). Doors open early and there is food available till 9pm. Shows start at 9pm and finishes at approximately 11pm. Once the show is finished then the chairs and tables move back and you can dance 'til 2am to the DJs upstairs in the ballroom, and in the theatre.
